Celtic Alexander III 'Ancient Imitation' Tetradrachm
Silver, 12.42 grams; 30.19 mm; imitating coins struck in Babylon under Seleukos I Nikator, 317-311 BC. Obverse: No legend, Head of Herakles in lion's skin, right. Reverse: AILIIIIIIL, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; MUL monogram in left field; sideways H beneath chair. Imitative of Price 3704 and 3722-3723. Very fine for issue.
