Rare British Roman 'Red Ware' Vase
Clay, 155 grams; 102.60 x 63.90 mm. Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Small vase with round globular shaped belly and narrow round flat base. The upper part of the vase is conical in shape and would have had an outward curling lip. A rare piece of British found pottery, upper section lost in antiquity otherwise in very fine condition. Ex English collection.

Roman 'Tri Potted' Storage Jar
Terracotta, 280 grams; 89.91 mm. Circa 1st Century A.D. It has a large circular pedestal foot, resting on it is a large expanding body terminating with a flared, out turned lip. Around the rim in triangular formation are three small 'pots' merging into the body. Small chip to rim. Very Fine condition.
