Byzantine 'Figural' Cross Pendant
Copper-alloy, 4.52 grams, 42.26 mm. Circa 8th-12th century AD. A cast copper-alloy pendant of Byzantine type formed as an expanding-arm cross. The outer face bears a cast design of a male with spread arms in a long robe, the face piriform with pellet eyes.
