Blue and white faience, 6.61 grams; 42.50 cm; 17 inch. Late Period, circa 1000-300 BC. An ancient Egyptian faience bead necklace made of over 120 mummy beads, decorated net beads and two scarab beads (after the antique). Around the white central bead is two scarab amulets and the necklace is decorated with lovely sky blue amulet beads in different shapes. A pretty restrung necklace in extremely fine condition, with modern clasp for it to be worn. Extremely fine condition.
