Georgian 'Quillon' Sword Hilt Fitting
Copper-alloy, 51.27 grams, 99.40 mm. Circa 18th century AD. Of cast form, with separately cast acanthus leaf terminals and fully gilded. The reverse with two fixing lugs. From a rapier or 'small' sword. Provenance: found Lincolnshire. A nice example.
