Rare Iceni 'Bury Head' AR Unit
Silver, 1.32 grams; 14.01 mm. Circa mid to late 1st Century B.C. Obverse: Head left with animal S in front. Reverse: True form horse left with large wheel above, ring and pellet motifs above and below body. Celtic Coin Index Registration Number at Oxford University: CCI 08.8830. BMC 3525. Only two examples of this type in the British Museum Catalogue. Good very fine. Found Suffolk.
