Victorian Period 'Head of Zulu' Toy Finial
Lead, 24.44 grams, 27.30 mm. Circa late 19th century AD. A cast bifacial mount in the form of a grimacing male face with short hair, a heavy furrowed brow, c-shaped ears, rounded nose and inflated cheeks which extend on both sides of a rectangular slot. The piece is pierced longitudinally with a quadrangular slot.
