Silver, 0.35 grams; 12.27 mm. 3rd Coinage; dated 1561 AD, mintmark Pheon. Obverse: crowned profile bust with rose behind and legend *E D G ROSE SINE SPINA. Reverse: long cross dividing shield of arms with date 1561 above shield and legend CIVI/TAS/LON/DON for London mint. Unusually nice bust and details for this scarce denomination. S. 2571; N. 2002. Extremely fine.
