Reverse: Aeneas moving left, head facing, holding palladium and bearing his father Anchises on left shoulder. RRC 458/1; CRI 55; BMCRR 31; RSC 12; RCV 1402. Almost Extremely Fine.

Gold, 5.90 grams; 18.67 mm. Circa 40 B.C. Obverse: Abstract head of Apollo right. Reverse: Disjointed horse left. Celtic Coin Index Registration Number at Oxford University: CCI 08.8244. M 50, 50a, 51, 51a; VA 804 - 3; BMC 182 - 191. S 28. Type classified as Scarce by the CCI. Good Very Fine. Found Lincolnshire.

John Sills of the Celtic Coin Index at Oxford University writes: "A late left facing rosette stater struck at mint A, the largest early Corieltauvian mint; mint A began by producing right facing coin but switched to left facing rosette stypes, probably in the 40’s B.C. A scarce type."

Alexander The Great 'Zeus' Tetradrachm
Silver, 16.60 grams; 33.79 mm. Circa 3rd Century B.C., restoring the types of Alexander the Great at Temnos (situated a short distance east of Neonteichos, on the hill-side above the right bank of the river Hermos). Obverse: Head of young Herakles right, clad in lion’s skin. Reverse: Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle and sceptre. Tall one handled vase, framed by vine branch. GCV 4225. Good Very Fine.
